BEAR LAKE PROMOTERS CHRISTMAS LIGHTING CONTEST
BEAR LAKE - Homes and businesses in the Bear Lake area will be joining the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Sparkle in the Park this year by taking part in the Bear Lake Promoters Christmas Lighting Contests.
“We are inviting Bear Lake residents and businesses to let their lights shine this Christmas season and create the biggest ever holiday light display for the thousands who will be visiting Sparkle in the Park this year,” said Sparkle Committee Chairperson Pauline Jaquish.
The Bear Lake Promoters will be offering “Bear Lake Bucks” as prizes in the Residential Division as well as the Business Division. Each group will have the opportunity to win Bear Lake Bucks that can be spent the same as money at most Bear Lake businesses. Each first place will win $50, second $25 and third $10.
“Opening night of Sparkle in the Park is November 29 and we will be judging area homes and businesses on Monday, Dec.1. We hope contest participants will decorate early so all the visitors to Sparkle in the Park will see what an enthusiastic community we are,” said Jaquish.
